How to pair and book modules for a new petal?

• you go first to the page: selection of modules for petal integration
  
  
  • if the connection failed, please try again a little bit later: there cannot be 2 connection at the same time otherwise the program which is running from a web interface will fail!
    
  • In case you still cannot connect after 1 hour, please contact Jean-Charles or Jean-Laurent
    
    
    
    
    
    
• then you will get the following kind of information:
  
  
  
  
  
  
• then you will see the set of modules that are proposed according to the different possibilities that are explained below:
  
  
  • most simple case: there are enough backplane bonded modules available to build full set of modules OR there is not a single backplane bonded modules available; you can select the (one of the) set(s)
    
    
    
    
    
    
  • another simple case: there are not enough modules available to build a single set; this is no proposal at all!
    
    
    
    
    
    
  • more complicated: there are not enough backplane bonded modules available to build a full set but there are enough modules to build a full set; you can select the incomplete backplane bonded set but not the other set to keep the priority to the backplane bonded modules integration
    
    
    
    
    
    
  • an exception: there are not enough backplane bonded modules available to build a full set (and you can select this set) and a set proposed using all modules contains all the backplane bonded ones; you are then allowed to select this set too
    
    
    
    
    
    
• then you click on "select" or "clear" at the page bottom
  
  
• the next page shows you the selection that you can print out:
  
  
  
  
  
  
• then you will be asked for a password (ask Jean-Charles or Jean-Laurent)
  
  
• You get then the confirmation the modules have been booked: that's all! the modules are booked and you should see the effect immediatly in the page: list of available modules
